Module 3: Revit tools
• Copy, Mirror, Align, Split, Array, Scale, Pin, Delete, Unpin,Trim, Mirror, Rotate, Copy, Offset, Align, Move, Demolish, Paint, Split Face, Join & Geometry Tools,Section Box, Override, Hide, Line work, Dimension & Parts Tools and Modify tools
Module 4. Revit Structure Basics
• Setting up RCC Project Template.
• Defining Structural Grids & Levels.
• Creating Structural Elements:
o Columns
o Beams
o Slabs
o Footings
Module 5. Material Take-Off (Cement, Sand, Aggregate)
• Concrete mix design basics (M20, M25, etc.).
• Converting volume → material quantities.
• Cement bag calculation.
• Sand & aggregate estimation.
• Integration with rebar & formwork quantities.
Module 6. Rebar Placement in Revit
• Rebar tools overview.
• Rebar cover settings.
• Reinforcement for:
o Columns (longitudinal + ties)
o Beams (top, bottom, stirrups)
o Slabs (mesh, distribution bars)
o Footings (mat & isolated)
• Rebar shape codes & customization.
• Reinforcement scheduling in Revit.
Module 7. Quantity Estimation in Revit
• Using Revit Schedules for quantities.
• Estimating concrete volume.
• Estimating reinforcement weight.
• Exporting schedules to Excel.
• Linking with standard BOQ format.
Module 8. Bar Bending Schedule (BBS)
• Concept of BBS in RCC.
• Generating Rebar Schedules in Revit.
• Exporting rebar data for BBS.
• BBS Formatting & Codes.
• Example: Beam BBS & Slab BBS.
Module 9. Using DiRoots for Data Management
• Introduction to DiRoots Plugins (SheetLink, SheetGen, FamilyReviser).
• Exporting schedules to Excel
• Managing rebar data outside Revit.
